Santa Barbara

Mediterranean coastal community with amazing weather.

Welcome to Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara is situated along the central California Pacific coast and enjoys some of the best weather in the world. Beautiful ocean views and the Santa Ynez Mountains are why Santa Barbara is often called the “American Riviera.” Its Spanish Colonial heritage is reflected in the architecture of the stucco and red-tiled buildings downtown. Santa Barbara was named after the patron saint of mariners–Saint Barbara. Santa Barbara has ample sandy beaches where all ocean activities can be enjoyed year-round in great weather. If you hop on U. S. Highway 101, Los Angeles is 100 miles southeast, and San Francisco is 325 miles northwest.
